How does it work

People ask me to explain exactly what I do to horses, it is a question that I am not very good at answering but have given it a lot of thought.
I am an animal communicator it is not something that I have trained to be but simply what I have always done. My ability to communicate with animals is often better than with people.Horses Voice

My healing hands – this again is something totally natural that I inherited from my Nanny. When I was 30 I met someone who told me straight away that I needed to use my natural ability of healing to help horses. The horses needed me, I knew I had the ability to communicate but with my hands that was something new. So I studied for the next 12 years to try and understand my healing hands and what I could do with them. During this time I healed many horses but still felt that something was missing I didn’t want to just heal I wanted to provide a completely different approach and for this I let the horses guide me. I studied all forms of Natural Horsemanship and asked the horses what they thought. I went to competitions and listened to their opinions, I went to a hunt meet to stand and listen, x-country, dressage all the events that we took horses to. DSC_0733

The results were amazing, the whispers and screams heart breaking and I promised that in someway I would try and make people listen. Some think I am a fruit cake but slowly things are changing for me and the horses. A few years ago I took the step of handing in my notice at work and giving myself to the horses, from then on Spirit became a very big addition to my life. They have joined forces with me and guide me on everything that I do.

So what do I call myself? I am a spiritual healer but this title sometimes scares people, I work with energy within the body – slightly more acceptable! But what it has become is a counselling service, sometimes for both horse and rider.

I write up some of my visits for people to read on Facebook and people tell me they enjoy my stories but unfortunately they are not stories, they are case notes, feelings as real and roar as yours or mine but they belong to the horse.

SAM_1117So you see everything you read is as real as a person revealing their inner most turmoil. Some funny a lot distressing and many sad all of this is revealed during the therapy session. I start all therapy sessions by talking to the horse and asking if they would like my help. I then carry on communicating with the horse and locating in their body where the emotions are held from past trauma. I then explain to the horses owner exactly where the horse is stiff, which would be the better rein, I tell them the character and personality of their horse and then dowse over the horses body so that they can see the reaction of the pendulum over the blocked areas.

I then start to heal the area. It is like a rose with layers of petals the first layer is the energy block in the body, you heal the block which is their for protection it enables the horse to put up a barrier to stop the pain, their owners see this barrier as a bite, kick, anger, miserable etc. to me it is the barrier to the emotion. Then I peel back the layer revealing the emotion behind the block revealing the roar emotion and the next layer the cause. Sometimes this could take a few sessions, during the whole time the horse is licking, chewing and yawning releasing the block to the universe. Sometimes they will be reliving the fight and anger with me and I may be pulled around knocked into walls as the anger is released.

DSC_0754At the end of the session the horse can be exhausted it takes a lot of energy to release but by doing so the horse can relax in every way. Mind, body, muscles and some even lie down and fall into a big sleep.

By releasing the energy blocks and counselling them through the event that has caused it I bring them peace. The owners see the difference and feels the difference, not only on the ground but also when they ride them; the stiffness has gone the body and mind is relaxed and the owner understands their. The session opens their eyes to who their horse is, not an animal to be dominated and abused but a being that feels more than you can ever imagine. The emotions that are released during the session also forces the owner to break the emotional barrier and release their anxieties as well.

So you see my journey has barely started destinations unknown, So I guess I should describe myself as the horse counselor for mind, body and spirit because when they are allowed to speak their world becomes a better place.

Love and healing to all the horses keep calling and I will come.
